Critique Please

Im new to the forums and currently do photography as a hobby.

I am looking for any type of critique on some of my pictures, so heres one of hopefully many.

All comments welcome.

I like it overall, maybe darken it up just a little

White looks a tad blown, but a lovely shot - the cat looks so comfortable.

The position of the eyes on the frame is good composition, but my own taste finds the image over-cropped. I like how the axis of the eyes is a diagonal line.

This image had the possibility for a 'Triangle' composition. Triangle comps are rarely used since the 'rule-of-thirds' is the generally accepted composition.

Here's How I got there..... If the crop had placed the chin lower in the corner and the cat's right ear kissing the left border, and the left ear kissing the top border, the comp would have been a definitive triangle composition.
