Just got home from a 10 day trip up to Hermit Island, Maine, camping with the fam and shooting as much as possible. We had some great weather, I found some new spots to shoot, saw some wildlife- definitely a fun trip.
I've been camping at this place for the last 20 years or so, so it can be difficult finding new scenes to shoot, but this was a fun one. This rock shelf is visible during mid tide, making a L shape that spun the waves around to the right as they crashed on shore. I loved the motion as the water flowed back in, and played around with some different shutter speeds and dodged waves until I found settings I liked. C&C is always welcome
