Just visited Horseshoe Lake Conservation Area in southern Illinois. I'm working on the photos and it's getting late and I've had my glass of wine. Hope this looks OK. I'll find out in the morning.

Your getting down to my old stomping grounds. Used to fly over it a lot on takeoffs and approaches. Did you see any eagles?

Yep, lots of eagles. They're all through the region now. Supposedly good fishing, haven't done any of that since my son left home, but maybe when I fully retire (soon now) I'll go get some fishing gear.
