Definition of 'Full Frame' in DSLR Gear

The posting of the D7000 on Craigslist/Los Angeles gave the guy's reason for selling the camera. He got it new and decides that he'd prefer to have a Full Frame Nikon. There about 3 or 4 D7000's currently for sale and among the listings (including the one I mentioned) half of them gave a reason for selling almost new gear. One other listing mentioned having taken only about 8000 exposures.

These guys were just sort of 'chatting it up'. I didn't sense any sneaky motives.
