Hey folks,

Ok, so I have a Canon XTi (thus EF/EF-S lenses) and an old Pentax K1000 (thus the K mount lenses). I like the Pentax lenses alot (since I already own more of them than the Canon lenses and they are already paid for  ) and got to wondering if there is an adpater made that will allow me to mount the K mount lenses on the XTi body. Obviously I realize the K lenses would have to be set all manually on the XTi body, but it is something I am willing to work with (I usually shoot scenery and other static shots, thus no great need for speed.)

So anyone know a maker that makes a good adapter?

Yes... Ebay has a bunch of them.

Not only do you have to set them manually but you will need to stop them down manually as well. Critical focus can be difficult on a non-pentaprism, non-focus screen equipped body.

Hmmm, forgot about the pentaprism focusing.....perhaps need to think this out a bit more.
