Does Canon 40D have a Image Sequence??

Hey guys,

hope you all doing well...

quick question over here, i was wondering if the Canon 40D is able to take Image Sequence, by that i mean, i self-timer the Camera so it take a picture every 5 minutes or so, for like 5 hours or so ... i hope you understand the point that im trying to say..

I think you can only do that teathered to a computer/laptop, or with an intervalometer.
The camera should have come with the teathering software.

How much can you afford to pay?..I'll stand there and press the button for you every 5 minutes for minimum wage *cough* ..'plus expenses'.

Tethered only i believe. But that's not so inconvenient these days with a netbook etc.

I bought a cable release for my camera - the TC-80N3, and it came with the possibility to set intervals. With this you can choose how long the shutter should stay open for up to as much as 99 hours, how many pictures to take in a row, how much time between each picture etc. It is really easy to use, and take up much less space than a notebook. A little more expensive than a less capable cable release, but if you need that kind of options it is really worth it... and if I'm not mistaken, it should work with the 40D as well as I believe your camera comes with the N3 connection
