downloading

Ihave put my SD card into my computer and it has created files but when I try to bring the images up it says the files are unreadable,however they download onto an ipad fine.any suggestions please.

If they are Raw files you likely need a codec (driver like thing) installed to read the files. What type of camera is it and what type of files are they?
