I am looking to buy a dslr camera that will let you see the picture you are taking from both the viewfinder and also the lcd. Can you let me know the models the will allow this?

Most all the Nikon line-up have "Live View" which enables the monitor to act as a viewfinder.

Any DSLR that markets "Live View" will do this.

Funny because my E-10 does. Although the LCD is pretty poor quality it allows critical 100% framing, and the viewfinder for focus setting.
