Engagement Session for C&C (2 images)

I had a wonderful time with this couple today! There are tons more but this is just the first two that caught my eye. I would appreciate constructive C&C on these images that I have so far.

how close were you with the exposure on the 1st one? It just look like the exposure of her had been adjusted too much. I like the 2nd one.

What looks off? I was pretty close on the exposure. Here is the original SOOC jpeg.

I like the way he looks on the edit. But I dont like the way she looks. Something is off. It looks like if it was shot with an inferior lens.

I used my 18-105 on that shot. That is a pretty good lens for me in the past. I have had lots of good results with it. It's currently my wide-angle workhorse. The second shot was the 70-200 VR1.

His eyes appear in focus hers do not. Her skin is reflecting a lot of light(?) and makes it look sallow or washed out. Perhaps more shade would have helped? Love the pose and angle. Fun couple for sure.

Her face caught the brunt of the flash. It was positioned camera left.

Still a very promising shot, hope they let you engage them some more, they are attractive subjects.

I like the second one a lot. It might be my computer here at work but could her eye be sharper? It looks a bit soft. Still a nice shot either way.

I wanted it to have that late evening look. A little darker. I may brighten it up a little and see how it looks.
