European nuthatch

So this is my 1st bird shot with my new Tammy 150-600 G2. Have been acclimatizing the birds to the strange guy sitting on the balcony with this huge lens. Finally got the shot on the 3rd morning (half an hour before work every morning).

This was probably around 4 meters away, with a flash about 1.5 meters away. I think it was F8 1/800th @ 600mm. The exif data should be there. A little over exposed, but its difficult with the rapid fall off from HSS flash.

I really like blacked out BGs. The pose, perch,and catchlight are great. The little froggy thing in the bottom right could go, I'd probably clone it out.
