Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
I'm interested in trying out some macro photography and saw this guy on Amazon. It looks like that's the only equipment I'd need and that buy using this tube and not a reversing ring I'd still be able to use auto-focus and the light meter. Am I understanding this correctly? Any other suggestions for trying out macro?

Thanks

Not with those tubes - read the product reviews on Amazon - those tubes don't have the electrical contact points and thus you won't have any aperture control nor AF and metering might be affected as well when using your camera body. If you lens has a manual aperture setting and manual aperture blade closing you might be ok - however look for the Kenko extension tubes. Those do have the contacts and will allow you to retain control over your lens.

Yeah....those $10.95 tubes are for dinking around, and work passably well ONLY with a manually controlled aperture ring on the lens and they do NOT maintain autofocus...these things are really cheap, Chinese-made toy-like pieces of equipment. The Kenko AF extension tubes Overread suggests are really quite good (I have a set), but there are also some lower-cost models with electrical contacts, like the intermediate-priced models sold through Adorama, for example.
