I'm a fan of the couple on the rocks in front of the lake. Great colours, makes you want to be in the picture.

Also like the one of the boy fishing, great capture.

Hey just a thought with all the kid shots. Get down on their level. you are looking down on all of them and for some reason I think that messes with the shot. I guess it is because they are looking up instead of level. Some of the last few you are more eye level with them and I think it works better. But what do I knoW!

#9, 12 and 13 are the best shots in my opinion! #9 the boy fish is the best.

Another thing, I think you added the little bit on black around the edges and while I think it looks ok I think it does not enhance the picture. You could do with out it!

Still all in all some very nice pictures!

thanx very much for the comments!

i don't think my boyfriend likes the "top down" view either of kids...
but for some reason i really do?

i love getting their big faces in focus and having the rest of their body fade out downwards....
but i have heard this isnt' the best way to shoot...
more like, what do I know! hahah
for me it's just personal preference
and ya, i love vignetting lol
maybe too much

thanks very much!

All of them are amazing but i like 3, 4, 9, and 12 the best.

Those are awesome pictures my jaw dropped when I saw picture number four.

Thats my fav too lol ^^ cute. Nice vingette.

my absolute favorite is the before-last one. it's the only one that made me stop scrolling and contemplate it for a bit. very nice moment, great colors.
in my opinion if you're shooting a set all of the photos have to have something in common. aside from the subject manner i mean. i don't like the fact that most of them are color, some are in black and white, and one is sepia. the images don't flow well.

Nice set, well done.

I'm usually a fan of 'getting down on their level' when shooting kids. If only because it's not something that a typical 'Mom with Camera' will do.

But there is something to be said about your personal style of having their faces in focus and using a shallow DOF. I like it.
