Finally did the pregnant B&W

So yeah, that took me long enough...

Here's the comparison. I seem to have lost a bit of the fill on her face during conversion. I've spent hours tweaking this photo, I swear.

YEAH, I remember this, the semi-silhouetted shot! You are right, the straight B&W version does seem to have less detail in the face. Interestingly, a lot of times, in a B&W conversion, the WHITE BALANCE can affect the detail to a surprising extent, and sometimes, just a little bit of WB adjustment can radically change a B&W conversion's areas that have more, or less, detail.
