The horizontal that Derrel hates so much looks to me very much like a photo designed to take some sort of copy, an album cover or similar. There IS a lot of excess space in it, but I didn't comment since I assumed that was intentional. e.rose is pretty much on her game at this point, so I assume that if I can see it, she sees it, is aware of it, and did it for a reason.

lol, I didn't notice the antlers in 2 until they were pointed out, now that's all I see. I was locked in on skin tones and eyes, both of which I like very much.

oh, and that tree in 4 is easily fixable, lazy.

Except, when someone writes a detailed critique and the OP responds with a terse "Thanks for your feedback," it reads to me as "Whatever, I don't care what you think." I'm new here and don't know the full history, so may be I'm completely off base.

Anyway, adding to what Derrel said, I really like #7. The pose is just right IMO, and the way the dress is shaped is great (was it wind or did you intentionally shape it that way?). The sun on the left is nice too. Looks like a calendar image! I'd have taken a little off the top though. I also like the way you used the sun on her hair on different images, especially #1.

I would react that way too if someone gave me critique and then said that everybody who didn't give in-depth critique are basically wasting my time. I mean, why not let me make that decision myself instead of telling me what I should do/think?Lol

I like the images though. There are some issues with the branches blah blah but I didn't really notice them until somebody said something.

I think it's different when the background is very consistent, as opposed to having a model against the cloudless blue sky with one solitary pole jabbing through their head.

It may be that some people here don't choose to acknowledge others. I don't think that she meant anything mean by it. There are people that I have on my ignore list and don't see posts by them. There are just some people that don't know how to effectively give critique... And those are the people you say "Thank you for the feedback! " to. Rather than attempting to engage in a thoughtful discussion about your photos because you may see photography as allowing for artistic interpretation, and others clearly don't. That's okay though. Everyone has their own opinions.

All in all, I wouldn't worry about it. If there's something useful in his critique, I'm sure she will take note. I can't see it, so I dunno.

Oh, I'm sorry, was I supposed to respond with an equally long and detailed response as to why I'm thankful for his feedback? See, here I thought "thank you" actually meant "thank you", silly me.

If you look back to anything I've ever posted for C&C, 90% of my responses to posts is, "Thank you for your feedback. ". Cause, you know, they took the time to leave it and I'm acknowledging that and have taken what they said into consideration...

He didn't ask a question, he left his opinion, I'm not gonna argue with his opinion if that's what he thinks about the images, cause I ASKED what people thought... So what would you suggest I have said instead?

The dress is a result of her movement according to the direction I gave her.
