Fireworks and bonfires banned in Massachusetts

Consumer fireworks and open fires have been banned in MA for decades. These were the locals playing along the coast of MA last night.

In MD it's up to each County to decide legality. Work county says no but home county says yes. Going to try to get to local minor league ball stadium for fireworks tonight.

Around here the police and fire departments are usually pretty good about letting people do their thing on the 3rd and 4th of July. Last night the winds were pushing out from the beach away from the houses. If it had turned they would have shut things down.

Here's about 8 miles of coast line to the north of where I was, it continued like this another 20 miles and same to the south.

Back in the old neighborhood, some of the neighbors would just pop their 9mms into the air (or sometimes each other).
Went to stadium for a few minutes -- too hot for the rest of the fam, so I'm not going to bother this year.

Great shot we have got anoyying neighbours who set off firecrackers off there back deck sometimes towards houses cant wait till the day the cops show up they dont do it to celabrate they do it at random for no reason
