:lol: most people aren't too keen on it and treat it as a bad memory from fads of days gone by.
 
It is one of those "working though the photoshop fu" things, don't really intend to do it much if at all.

In the movie 'Schindler's List,' Steven Spielberg used a very faint selective red coloration on a coat to allow the audience to focus on the fate of one little girl caught up in the midst of a slaughter of hundreds of people.

When you get a situation that important, then consider it.

You've done it perfectly fine. Now that you've done it, you don't need to bother doing it again!
 
Nice shot. Its trendy to not like selective colouring. I like it sometimes as long as its not corny and overdone. All processing has its place
