first child portrait

This is my first attempt at a child portrait. Was in the garden with my daughter and managed to get a decent picture of her. First is straight from the camera, the second with some PP, please let me know what you think?

I think you've done a good job! That's really nicely executed portrait. I think the processed version is the stronger of the two but I would suggest perhaps a little bit more burning on the forehead, and perhaps clone out the catchlights in the centre of her eyes, they're a little disconcerting. The only real weak point IMO, is the background; you've made good use of selective focus, but the background is still very 'busy' and distracting.
