First Few Pictures for c&c

So I just got my first camera a few weeks ago, a canon rebel t1i, and I've been messing around with it. I don't really know much, but I figured I would put up a few random pictures I recently took. any general advice is greatly appreciated

This one was just a close up of some water on my window. I tinted it blue because the original one was just a boring gray

This ones just some paint.

This one is a piece of glass hanging from a light in my house.

My best advice is to read, learn and practice. Read your camera's manual, read it again, and spend some time with tutorials such as this excellent series from Cambridge in Colour.

The paint one is neat. Gives me some ideas for some things I would like to try. I am also a newb with a T1i. So far I like it a lot!

I kinda like your style. They give me an artsy, sorta abstract look.

Check out "youtube.com". They have some great tutorials on the t1ii as well as photography. Definitely worth the watch.

The last one was pretty good, you just should of maybe cleaned the piece of glass. Would have made for an even better photo.

Thanks, iv actually been watching a bunch of youtube videos, they really help..and Casey, i wish i had cleaned the glass too. i noticed it after haha oh well. next time.

#2 is a good idea, I would crop it closer though.
