LOL, no he wasn't in a enclosure, This shot was taken in New Orleans on a Swamp Boat ride to visit.... lol , visit the gators, thatz how the captain or guide put it in words. He would yell out loud "ooooop, ooooop " then a few seconds later here they came one after another, THAT WAS SCARY !!!! We soon had about 20 Gators surrounding the boat, "THAT WAS SCARIER" The scariest thing is when I leaned over the boat to take the shot, I was like 5 or 6 feet from it when I took the picture, the captain yelled out loud, " don you daar do dat again not unless your Tazan " so, I sat down and caught breath and said to myself, whew, that was close. The shot was taken with my AE-1 w/ a 50mm. I didn't have a zoom at the time. But, now I do and I'm not going back there again.
