First portrait shoot

Took these the other day. Would like some input/critique.

It looks like 1) a young Helen Hunt and 2) Ken Rockwell!!!!

I think for "lightbulb portraits", that you did VERY well on these! The girl looks mysterious, and the exposure is perfect! The guy has both eyes with catchlights, and the background bricks look great. VERY well done on both shots. One very solid "tall", one very solid "wide"!

Thanks Derrel ... I was up until 1am the night before plastering newspaper on the walls of my mini-studio (yikes). During the shoot, it was actually one of those magic things. I was going for the FBI telling the guy "You need to talk to me pal" kind of ... thing. And (BAM!) there it was ... I almost shouted "hold it!" and got that one. I've known this guy for 20 years, he did it as a favor. That girl is his daughter. She really is beautiful, and yes, you're spot-on ... a dead ringer for Helen Hunt.
