First Post - Road to Los Alamos

First time posting one of my pics here!

Took this Saturday morning... Incredibly disappointing sunrise initially (no color on clouds since the sun was blocked) but I waited patiently for the golden hour lighting when the sun finally popped out. A few blown out highlights in the sky and I wish the telephone wires weren't there but otherwise I'm happy with the way it turned out. Any other C&C besides those two things is welcome.

This is the road up to Los Alamos, north of Santa Fe; Sangre de Cristo Mountains are in the background. I've been coming here ever since I was a kid to visit family and I'm still awestruck by the breathtaking landscape when I drive down this road; during golden hour it is really magical.

Looks like an incredible place. Weren't the Sangre de Cristo Mountains mentioned in a Paul Simon song? I think they were!

Didn't realize that! Looked it up and it's in Hearts and Bones.
