First Red-Headed Woodpecker!

This is the first one I have ever photographed (maybe even ever seen for me), It's not a good photo, but it is as close as I could get. I NEVER see these around.

I have gotten a Downy, and a Red-Belly before. The Downy is always around the trees at me house.
I was out getting some fresh shots of the Great Horned owlet, when I heard something that didn't sound familiar. So I set off through the trees to the other side (about 150 yards) I had to stop frequently to listen for his call, which only made every 30-60 seconds, until I found him in a tree and he took off to a tree in a clearing about 100 feet away from where I was. Which was the perfect shot to take a photo. Really would have been great with a better camera and lens.

He is around 9" long, so they are big!
