first senior pictures

some friends of mine wanted me to take some senior pic for them. Never done portraits before so I would like some CC on them.

Almost all need fill light. The poses, for the most part are appropriate for the subject, though in 6376, the subject looks like he has NO idea how he should be standing. 7614 should, IMO, be leveled, and 7666 should be binned. This is a big, good-looking guy, and your too-high shooting position makes him look.... odd. 8050 would have been a great portrait, but you missed focus and it's soft. Overall, for a first go, not too bad.

Yes you really need some fill light.
The 6376 position feels weird, maybe have is legs a little more spread, shoulder back, and his hand relaxing on the side. I love the 6396, great posing, nice angle. BUT it could beneficiate from a little photoshop, also seems to me like there's a lot of noise. 7614 is a bit soft, I would definitively try to make it pop a little more using the curves tool. 7620, soft also, did you focus on the eyes ? Could also be your zoom.

I wonder if I am making them under exposed in lightroom. I have not done any Photoshop work on them. I am not really experience to photoshop because I usually dont do much touch ups ( I am not saying I am too good to touch up, I just dont do a lot for my nature and sports photos.) I feel since I am not good at Photoshop portraits, I am afraid I am going too make my pictures fake looking.
