First time highway & long exposure.

[30 secs, iso 400] This one was taking with the camera stationary on the side of the highway.



[30 secs, iso 200] This one was taken while moving on the highway with the camera sitting inside on the dashboard. I can't help think this would look so cool if I was closer to other cars and we were all going the same speed. This way the cars would be in focus and the background would have the motion blur. I'm going to have to try this again some day.



I know nothing new or exciting here, but for me personally it was cool to understand how this process can achieve dramatic results.

I like the second one because it is something that I have thought of doing...but it was only a thought. You probably shouldn't drive while trying to take pictures.

Thanks. Fwiw...my wife set the camera settings, 10 sec delay self timer, etc. I placed the camera on the dashboard where it was sitting hands free during the exposure.
