First Time SLR

Hey guys,

So, it looks like I'm going to be inheriting an Olympus E10 from my father who has upgraded.

Now, I'm upgrading from a 1MP Canon point and shoot that can no longer focus in any light conditions. So, I'm excited.

What is the general feel of the E10? It's my first SLR/DSLR and really my first introduction into photography too.

No experience with one myself but I can tell you that the first thing to do is to read and then reread the manual. If it's been lost search the web for one (free ones first).
