Fixing water damage

how does one go about repairing a water damage lens? Is this something a pro shop has to do? The lens doesn't seem to be bidding due to any rust or anything of that nature.

If it was dunked it should be disassembled and serviced by a pro, yes. But you didn't give us much information as to what exactly happened to your lens so it's rather hard to give advice..

It's a Super Takumar 24mm 3.5mm lens. The first owner never told me how it came to be in that condition so I have no ideal what happened. On closer inspection the blade are stuck and the pin the the back is jammed.
