Flash

Hi all, I'm a noob to DSLR and would like to know why my flash will flicke when I press the shoot button? This occurs at times but not sure in what curcumstances.

Anyone can advise on this?

This will happen in low light situations. Not enough light is available for your camera to autofocus and a couple of burst are shot by the flash to help with the AF. You can avoid this by manual focusing
