Can others edit my Photos
Photos NOT OK to edit
This took me a long time to setup because I am a total noob when it comes to lighting and I didn't have some equipment that would have made life easier. I also wasted a bunch of shots figuring things out (thank you digital!) but I think it came out alright:

I dont understand the point of the gun in the photo.

If anything I would suggest trying to either get a little more light on the gun or bring it more clearly into view - I thought it was a walkei-talkie at first.

Otherwise creative use of shadows and good overall lighting control on a very reflective surface - great work and time well spent

So did I. Overall a good job.

I guess I'm the only one who automatically knew it was a handgun?

When I first looked at the picture I didn't even see the gun. It wasn't until I started reading comments that I went back and had to really look for a handgun. If that is the way you planned it, you suceeded. Otherwise, great picture!

I like the idea of a walkie-talkie with a bit of light on it.

A walkie-talkie may be more of a use than a gun if a T-Rex were behind you like that ;)

In the movie the Dinosaur handlers had guns in the beginning when transporting that raptor. Though they were assault rifles. I don't have one, that's an airsoft gun by the ways, and if I did it wouldn't fit in the picture so I went with the hand gun.

To shoot the T - Rex in the background coming for him.
Yep.

Yeah that was sort of a compromise. I was originally shooting at a higher angle so you could see the gun better but I had to move it because the light for the toy dinosaur kept making a hotspot on the helmet that obstructed the words. I finally had to lower my angle which makes the gun kind of flat. I do have a radio I had with my costume that I could have pulled but the gun made more sense for what I was going for.

Yes... I planned it. Let's go with that!

I might try this again with the radio and hand gun. I learned a lot from this experiment.
