Ghetto softbox fun

So I was cleaning out one of the closets in my house and I came across a Styrofoam cooler that I never really used. In an spontaneous moment where the synapses in my brain fired in harmony (rather than sporadically and at their own will because they can do whatever the hell they want to...apparently) I thought about making it into a softbox. And I did. And it works. This is the only thing that I've ever created that works. Somewhat...

It's not the greatest but for $10 and a drive to Hobby Lobby I think it'll do.













I used white art paper for the diffusion material, which gives it the warm glow.

Oh wow. Maybe I did subconsciously pick up the idea from there. I thought that I'd seen it or heard about it from somewhere but I couldn't remember. Lol.

Haha that is actually a crop from a vertical shot, but my shirt rode up and my waist was all awkwardly exposed. I tried to Photoshop my short down but it didn't turn out lol.
