Just for fun...

Nice dead fish in the foreground.

That's what I was photographing when I saw this.

I'm so confused.

Street on a beach.

In Florida, snow bird = tourist.

As I understand it, the term "snowbird" is more than simply a tourist, but rather someone who arrives at the beginning of winter and stays until spring. This term is often used as a derogatory term by the locals who live there year-round because the "snowbirds" are not seen as a permanent part of the community.

There is a bird by that name, also. They arrive with the snow.

Yup, there are tons of $7 an hour jobs for 6 months out of the year.

I was usually the first down for breakfast & alone in our hotel in Fla last month & got an unwanted dialogue from a Jamaican immigrant hotel worker, on break I presume. He went on & on about how it was hard to survive on minimum wage & that it took him two jobs to have reasonable accommodation & still afford to eat. I politely listened to his rant & then asked if he would have been better of in Jamaca, the answer was a definitive no.
