God's Acre Candlelight Vigil...

This evening was the annual Candlelight Vigil at the local Veteran's cemetery. This involves a short memorial ceremony with speeches and a moment of silence followed by a Veteran and a young person placing a candle at the grave of each Veteran in God's Acre, the local Veteran's cemetery.

Beautifully done. I like the one of the little boy because it shows what it means to people beyond the ceremony of the day.


My only nitpick would be maybe to crop the first one just enough to eliminate the black box above the heads; it's not that noticeable but I just tend to notice details.

Thanks (the other) Sharon! Good point. I will probably clone that out in the final version; I didn't want to crop any closer as it made things a bit claustrophobic.
