good tripod

whats a good tri pod for around $150 that is really durable and wont get messed up in sand. im 6 foot so something that i dont have to hunch over for would be amazing.

Look on Ebay for a seller called amvona.com they have a model AT-858BL. People I know on another forum rave about these things. You can pick one up for about $90.00 plus $15.00 shipping.

Here is one Like I got.I love mine.It sets up really fast and is super strong,and heavy duty.Got mine for 75 bux and I havnt seen another bargain that can compare.I dont think you can beat amvona for price and quality.

There are no electronics to break and most good tripods (including Bogen/manfrotto) hold up for years. As such.. consider used... especially for one with a budget.

My 3011 Bogen with 3 way pan was obtained at a camera swap for $35.
