Got a ?? about Military pictures

Hey guys!

My neighbors daughter is in the military and HATES how the boot camp photos came out. I do have some backdrops and a crappy continous lighting set. Here is my question to yal. The girl in the army did exactly what she was allowed to do as far as how she posed for her other shots. Is it ok that I post them on here for CC?

I dont want to offend anyone and was just curious b/c I haven't done anything with my indoor stuff for quite some time and would like some input. Thanks guys!

Lol yea she is! Funny thing is about her IS she was soo so so so so tiny! when she went into the military she gained 20lbs of muscle it is so funny to see her now! She looks FABULOUS!

If they are YOUR images it's fine. If it's the military images it's not fine.

If they are photos taken by an employee of the US government in the performance of their duties, the photos are in the public domain, because the copyright is owned by every US citizen.

i really love the new dress blue's sooooo much nicer than the dress greens when i was in.

i'd ask if you shot her in dress or battle uniform.... but i know you are busy editing the photos, so i'll just hold my breath and be surprised

The pics they had taken out of bootcamp was the one's that are grey. Im sorry if I'm sounding like an idiot (which I know I probably am) I dont know what they are technically called. Kinda camo ish. Thats what they had taken pics of so thats what mom and iz wanted me to re do for her. Exact same thing but just better looking (or trying lol)

The UK Navy has a nickname for the army (all out of friendly rivalry of course). Navy guys call the army Pongos, because wherever the army goes, the Pong goes (pong is UK slang for smell) The army has ots own slang for the Navy out of retaliation.

Like others have stated. If they're your photos, feel free. The only thing I caution against is posting anything that would be considered "out of uniform". Every piece of the uniform has a regulation to it and she should go out of her way to ensure that she meets all those. That ofcourse would be her responsibility, not yours.
