thanks, I'm glad they turned out, the 600 has really been a test to keep technique from getting sloppy due to its focal length and weight. I recently got a RRS monopod to go on excursions like this with since handholding the 600 is a bit difficult for more than a handful of shots and my other monopod isn't up to the weight task, and my tripod isn't feasible on stuff like this. the pod has really improved the amount of keepers too.
