I recently started posting on this forum to look for a basic photography kit.

I finally got around to buying a used Nikon D60 kit with less than 1500 shutter actuations and a AS-F 18-70mm DX lens for $400. I thought this was a pretty good deal. So now that I'm ready to start shooting some pictures. I look forward to sharing my photos and gettings some feedback to improve my skills!

I plan on emphasizing my work on Night-time city scenes and landscape and some macro photos.

Thanks guys. Once my body and lens arrive. I will start immediately.

What do you recommend I buy for my d60? As far as a variety of lens, would I buy different filters, hoods, extra batteries?

I need a bit of guidance to help me on my way
