Hello,

I guess I should do this intro thing to maybe network with some other photographers around the area and on TPF.

I am down in Alabama, US and LOVE photography. I am new to the art but love every second of it and find it hard to actually study most days for my classes instead of going out and taking some shots. I got my Canon 60D not too long ago and it is my baby, plan on getting another lens soon for her (50mm). I am really interested in shooting landscapes and nature stuff but after watching some videos online, looking at other photographers work and my own innate ability of people watching and interest in society; I have decided to focus on people and city shooting. I am no where close to professional and dont act to be BUT to me that isn't what it is about. It is about expressing that vision I have about things through the lens of my camera.

I am open to ideas and pointers, and like i said, always open to buds!
