It looks really cool! My wife won't let me do that to my son... It looks like you had the main light source above the camera, but it looks like there was an additional light source coming from the camera left. Maybe a window or something. I think the camera left is a little blownout... Overall I really like the shot.

thanks! it was taken with all natural light, the room we were in has windows on all four walls (a sun room) so the light was coming in from all directions, I had to lighten it up and I was afraid it was a bit blown out, its too bad
