Hello and Thank you

Found this forum on a Google search about my new camera and haven't been able to put it down since.

I am moving to Germany for 4 years and finally convinced my wife it would be wise to buy a decent camera capable of capturing great memorable shots, not to say I am capable yet, but the camera is!

Took photo for 3 years in high school/college and loved it, but that was 35mm and not digital.

Wanted to say Hello and thank you to all the posters that have shared a ton of information, I have spent hours reading and learning. I have read the manual for the camera and found things better explained here in the beginner forum. So Thank You! I appreciate the time and effort so many have put into the forums.

Great! What type of camera do you have? I did not think that I was capable of the photOs I have taken but my camera seems to make anyone look like a professional. I have a nikon d7000

I have a Canon T3i, very happy with it so far!
