Hello from a returnee to photography

Hi, I have recently bought a sony A100 to get back into photography after about 20 years. I've forgotten most of what I knew so expect a lot of questions from me . I chose the Sony because it felt right in my hands and so now I am learning how to use it, and joining you guys seemed a good place to start. I'll put a photo album in my sig when I have something to put in it and will appreciate feedback good or bad ( as long as you tell me why they are bad)
