....or is it? How do you get rid of the red/rosacea in someones face if they, or someone else is wearing red in LR?? I had a maternity shoot a few days ago and the wife was wearing red, and the hubby was very fair skin with red cheeks. I would usually just desaturate the reds in LR3 and be done, but again... the wife was wearing red. Help is appreciated!

In LR, you could try the adjustment brush and just concentrate on the face...but this type of thing is really a job for Photoshop, not Lightroom.

Which is why working photographers usually have Photoshop, Lightroom, and other image editing applications.

Lightroom is not a complete image editing solution.

Thankfully I have both :)
So what should I do? Just airbrush some color (select his natural non red cheek color) on his cheeks at minimal-medium opacity?

Skin retouching is a big field with many, many different techniques.

I usually start with the healing brush/patch tool. Then move onto the clone tool or paint brush. If there are color issues, I'll probably mask the area and use a few adjustment layers to normalize it.

Either way, it's fairly important that you do your skin work on at least one separate layer so that when you think you are finished, you can still adjust the opacity.
