Hello new friends!
I'm new to photography and I'm very excited to learn from you all. I took a year of photography back in high school (~12 years ago...) and I'm trying to work my way back into it. My husband bought me a Canon Rebel T5 kit for my birthday and I'm just starting to get a little comfortable with the options and settings. This past weekend I bought my first non-kit lens (a Canon 50mm f1.8 STM) and I already LOVE it.
My favorite photography is portraiture, but I also enjoy perusing wedding photography, pet portraiture, landscape photography, and automobile photography. I love natural, non-posed photos and that is what I'm hoping to someday excel in.
Outside my interests in photography, I'm a scientist, a long-distance runner, and a soon-to-be aunt!
I look forward to getting to know you all!
