Hi I'm new around these parts

Hello everybody I'm Neil and I'm new around here! I've been doing this amazing thing called photography for about 2 years now and I absolutely love it. I especially love night photography as of this past month, it is incredibly challenging!

My baby is a Nikon D5100, I use a 55-200mm lens with it. I had the stock 18-55mm but it got dropped and basically that was all she wrote for that lens. I'm looking into getting a Nikon 35mm 1.8 in the next couple weeks.

I've really been dying to get involved with some other photographers as my photography group only meets once a month.

Welcome to TPF, you will love that 35mm, I just gave mine up to try out some different glass. It was my go to lens and always stayed on my body. Quick, sharp and produces pretty decent bokeh.
