Hi there, I have some photos from a recent wedding I attended that accidentally were shot at 1600 ISO. I've been planning to get some sort of noise reduction software anyway so it seems that this is the time to do it. Any suggestions on which to buy? thanks, duane
Don't buy anything. Download the Neat Image demo. It does everything you need, with the only restriction being that you have to save as jpg and not tiff. http://www.neatimage.com/download.html
The demo also does not allow you to match processing. You can only do two at a time. If you pay $30 for the program you can do as many as 50 at one time.
Neat image is cheap quick and easy rescue for a few images. (cheap as in free) I suggest rather than spending money on a noise reduction stand-alone application, you put the money towards some RAW editing software with noise reduction tools.
Can you post a sample image please? I shoot all indoor weddings and receptions at 1600 ISO......I'm not sure what problem you might be having, but could perhaps tell by an image.
