I think this is a good portrait with a white background, but is not what is considered a high key image. For a more concise definition and dialogue of high key imaging, please read THIS.

A couple of nits.

• The face has been overprocessed IMO and has an orange hue to it.
• The shadow on her left shoulder is a bit harsh caused by the accent light being A) too hot and/or B) set too low vertically.
• There appears to be a cyan piece of thread from her dress on her left shoulder.
• IMO, the bits of hair across her forehead should have been smoothed back prior to the shot. They are also causing an unwanted shadow.

It's not really high key but the model is cute. But WHOA!!! WAY too much airbrushing she's a little kid, not a playboy bunny.

I agree with the above posts. This is not what I'd consider high key (her clothing contrasts strongly with the bright/white background). For high key, you match bright clothing/accessories to a bright background. This is just a portrait on a white background...nothing wrong with that, but it's not high key.

I also agree that the processing is overboard, especially for a young model like this.

yea thanks for the comment i will consider it next time and i understand what is a high key image thanks for the posts ...

about the processing i was just trying a new type of editing ,, because i don't have a adult model and i kind of hard to get one here im trying on kids portraits ,, to be honest im not really into portraits i love landscape and city scape photography ,, and just for the knowledge im trying different kind of photography
