The light and shadow situation is nice, as it becomes immediately apparent that it is a TREE that is throwing this shadow, but I would have loved to see the horses head in a big more light. Ah well... was not to be had at the time. Right? Maybe you could play with the curves and get out a little more detail? Perhaps? That is, in case you "do Photoshop"?
