Horsing around

They say to focus on the eye - do you feel it's in focus? Have I cropped this to the wrong size? It was poorly composed, I feel

I think it's a little tight in the cropping, and usually when we think of a horse's head, we would probably expect to see the entire horse's head, including the ears, so I'm just not sure if I like the crop here either.

If you want to mess with it some more, try cropping to portrait, cutting off most of the neck.
