How do I reattach back piece to a Hasselblad 500c?

I took off the back piece of my Hasselblad 500c and now can't get it to reattach. I think the small button on the back piece with the "v" on it is not sliding all the way like it did when I opened it. I think it got a little stuck, any idea how to fix?

Which part is the slide? Sorry if I'm sounding stupid.

The slide is the thin metal cover that stops light getting into the magazine when it is off the body.

To reattach the magazine the film and shutter indicators must match (ie be the same colour) on the magazine and the body. What colour are they? (they are the small round windows that would be near each other if the mag was attached)
