Also on Ebay their are a LOT of D50's online listed as "factory samples"...

I would say it is for real
It seems to be a good starter set at a great price, not sure why they have Sigma lens with the D50 set seems like maybe a lot of leftover inventory maybe.

i would look into the seller further, its not likey many sellers have that many d50s unless they are stolen. or they own a store.
