How do you organize your photo gear instructions?

PDFs on both computers as well as on my phone. The paper copies are left in the box.

You keep the box?

Yep. If I ever sell the lens, it helps up the sales price. Why? I don't know........... he's on third, and I don't give a darn.

I keep them with their boxes until the warranty expires. Once the warranty expires (or I need to clean out the closet) I ditch the boxes and package up ones useful documentation and put them in my filing cabinet. Camera manuals are one of the few manuals I find useful, though nowadays with Nikon having PDF's for them all I may end up ditching my paper ones.

In its original box that's in a box with a bunch of other boxes that are boxed similarly that are sitting in the attic so that any possible chimney fire gets properly stoked. In the off-chance I sell something, I have the original box and docs because it helps sell the item that's in that big box of boxes, up in the attic. In the off-chance of a chimney fire, I have the gear more accessible so that I can possibly take a photo of all those boxes going up in flame. Which should help with the insurance claims.

The manual for my primary camera goes in my camera bag. Everything else stays in the original box so it's all together when I go to sell it later.
