Yep, I too think the frame/crop is a bit to tight, but a good action shot with facial expressions and the ball.

I did some quick and dirty editing:

I think the 2nd cropped is cropped in the wrong direction. You need to give your subjects "breathing" room, so crop fairly tightly on the side opposite they're facing and the crop out a little where they are facing. But action shot though none the less
